This vial combines two synthetic peptides. CJC-1295 is a 29 amino acid analogue of the first part of growth-hormone-releasing hormone, with four amino acids substituted for stability and a lysine added to carry the DAC (drug affinity complex), a small reactive group that binds serum albumin. It was developed by ConjuChem. The version sold as "CJC-1295 no DAC" is the same peptide without that group.
Ipamorelin is a five amino acid peptide developed at Novo Nordisk in the 1990s that acts on the ghrelin receptor (GHSR-1a). Both have mainly been studied in animal models.
